Depends on the model of the XJ and location...maybe 3K - 7K
RE lift depends on height. I got a 3.5" Super Flex for $761 I think it was. Tires - depends if you want to upgrade rims or not. I did and I think all 4 (still need the spare - it is ordered but no place to mount it yet) cost me around $1100 (I am really guessing here though - I can't dig up the ticket for some reason). I went with a 32x11.5" tire. You go bigger = more $ smaller usually less. I was also using name brands so there is a little built in for that too. Mickey Thompson Classic Lock Rims and BFG AT tires.

The RE lift can get expensive because there are lots of other things to buy to make everything work right. My opinoin is if your going to do something, do it right the first time so that you are happy with it and not regretting it and then spending more money to fix it. So I bought the basic RE 3.5 superflex from 4x4 groupbuy for 800$. This came with free monotube shocks. But then you add a 100 dollar shipping fee, RE HD adjustable tracbar, RE SYE and CV driveshaft, maybe new brakelines, coil spacers, axle shims, and it starts to get a lot more expensive than you originally thought. But then again it is worth it in the end. And tires are going to be at least around 140-160 each depending on brand and size. I got 5 tires and 5 wheels from a friend for 250$ So you could look for some deals. And just like in my case lots of Rubicon guys sell their wheels and tires for fairly cheap. Hope this helps, and here's a few pics. ![]() ![]()

this is a good point....I got the lift kit for 761 (no shipping as it was a deal when i got it) but the SYE and shaft was anouther 500-600 and then the nickle and dime stuff. I didn't get the shocks with mine so that was another 220 for the mono tubes.
Don't feel bad about 11K - I paid 13K for mine with 41K miles but it was 7 yrs ago - now on a trade they offered me only 2500 - 3K. That was when it was bone stock and I wanted a pick up - that ticked me off so I decided to make it a toy since I can afford another 3K if I am going to dump 36K on a truck. SOB's - no wonder they can't sell anything. - Sorry for the rant. You can pick them up really cheap but you have to watch out for anything under a couple grand. They are usually going to need more work. If you can get a good base figure 2-3K more and you can get a really nice looking functional ride. Another 2-3 K after that and it will be amazing!
