Ah, didn't see that. Nice.

Those shocks will do you fine, but when you do eventually switch to different "nice" ones, you'll notice quite the difference.

Alllrriiiigghhtt!! You're on the home stretch now!! Get that tcase in and the lift in! Then just making some driveshafts and you're on your way! As for shocks they will be fine.. sure some more expensive ones will ride better.. but it will still ride nicer then your truck either way haha.

And the tcase is in!!

Running short on time so i think im gonna run the single stick for now obviously cut it up and make it not stick out so far into the passenger side. I'll swap in some twinsticks when I can. Just gotta build a box around it and im set. Now to find some np231 front yokes. Headed to the pick-n-pull tomorrow! Lift kit should be in on monday. Should have this thing back on the ground by next weekend \m/

Shortened up the shifter a little, and made a panel to free up some space for the driveshaft.

Local yard had no xj's so im still on the hunt for another driveshaft and some np231 yokes

Well the lift arrived early last week and im finally done work for the summer. So its time to do some real wrenching. Unfortunately I have 10 days until i have to return to school, so im a little pressed for time. Im gonna do all I can while I can, and hopefully get this thing in the sunlight again before i leave.

I built a box around my tcase, and shortened up the shifter a little

Finished burning in my stiffeners, and painted them up

Here's a little teaser of the new hard wear

Couldnt help myself on this one \m/

Spent some time assembling my subframe, tapping my frame, and assembling the longarm bushings and whatnot, I'll be working on the jeep the rest of the week, so expect lots of pics shortly

Crossmember subframe in, everything clears nicely, and now im working on getting my exhaust bolted back up. Im gonna have to run it down the drivers side, and then probably cross back over right after the crossmember.

Bolted up the control arms to get a feel for where the axle needs to be. Tomorrow im gonna try and weld up my spring/ control arm mounts. I did forget about a tracbar bracket and upper control arm mount. DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS AS TO WHAT I SHOULD USE FOR AN UPPER CONTROL ARM MOUNT?? It needs to be something I can weld on, and roughly 5-6 inches tall. The pic below is of the pass side, so you cant really see what i need, but it would be on the drivers side on the upper part of the "Y" where the caster adjuster is.

Tomorrow im heading to another yard to see if i can snag some yokes and a driveshaft.

Thanks for the comments!

Got a little work done today

Rear end is getting there just need to weld the axle perches and get my pinion angle just right. I do have an issue with the leafs rubbing on the tires but i guess that just means ill need some spacers.

More work tomorrow!
