2 door vs 4 door

Is there any advantages/disadvantages to the 2 door vs the 4 door besides the obvious?

Very few differences aside from the doors. As dg6772 said the larger front doors on the 2-door make it easier to get into and out of the front seats. Of course 4-doors makes it easier to get people and especially stuff into and out of the back seat. Generally 2-doors are considered "cooler". 2-doors also tend to have more/earlier issues with the hinges since the doors are larger and heavier, 2-door specific parts can also be more difficult to find.

Aside from this they are the same length, same wheel base, same drivetrain, etc. The only real difference is number of doors and length of the rear quarter panel and side windows.

I almost forgot....2 doors have different front seats that fold for rear access, and tend to be hard to find in good shape.

Unibody isn't as strong with the doors off on a 2 door if you're into that. Really a non issue though if you're wheeling enough for it to be one you should be running frame stiffeners anyway.
