1400$ jeep

I just bought this 91 Jeep Cherokee, 4.0, AT, 4x4 with 194.xxx on the clock. Like the title say's i paid 1400 for it witch i really didn't think was to bad. It has some issues, it leaks oil, the hatch wont stay open on its own, and it kinda hard to start but if you turn the key twice it starts up fine... so what do you guys think on my buy.[IMG][/IMG] [IMG][IMG][/IMG][/IMG] [IMG][/IMG]

That's a clean Jeep for us rust country folks! You could easily sell that for double with the lack of rust!

Very nice. The wheels and side-steps are probably worth 1/3 of the price Fixing that hatch is cheap and easy and is probably the biggest headache in it

Sounds like a good deal to me. That almost exact same description can be said of my XJ and I paid $1350.

as to your not starting right away thing, its your fuel pressure regulator failing and not keeping enough fuel pressure to start it up quickly, the easiest fix it to put in a inline regulator, and the struts for the hatch are a easy 13-15 bucks per strut on rockauto which isn't terrible. nice find though!
