Cruiser I still have the NGK's in my Jeep! I haven't taken them out. I have noticed my jeep doesn't run as hot as it did with the platinum plugs in. It doesn't warm up as fast. I'll run the NGK's for awhile. I have to get the "Orange can of Death" off of it today. I bought a Napa Gold 1515 to put on it. Oil change day today!

Progress. See if your oil pressure seems much different without the OCOD on there.

It's more than a name change and mounting points. Have you tried swapping them before? Not so easy.

The Powertech name applies to all 4.0s 99+ whether they're TJ, WJ, or XJ. They're all the same engine with only minor differences between vehicle models. This is also pretty far off-topic.

Please inform me about what the differences are in the engine. I had always been under the impression powertech was just a name they decided to give the 4.0.

I ended up buying the stock copper ones.. EVERYONE SUGGESTED them even the auto guy who drove a 98 XJ himself said get these.. I have to post pictures THERE WAS NOTHING LEFT to the lead on the plugs.. I mean it littlerly had to be sparking on the metal inside the plug itself.

The only thing is I replaced them, my wires, my dist cap and I still bet misfires after idling too long. AND OR if I first start the jeep and drive down my block and make a wide right hand turn shell misfire 2 times and pop out of it..

Very strange. I did the tune up thinking that was the issue. Even did new fuel filters.

Since nobody gives a rip what is in here..I'm changing to the Napa Gold 1515 oil filter in the morning. I usually put 6 quarts in..Will I need to put a little extra for the larger filter? Running 10w30....
