Your first time wheeling you jeep

how old was it? Just curious if people bought them knowing they were getting them dirty or waited for the new car smell to wear off first.

250 miles. My first weekend with my jeep i bought it brand new and it scared the shyte out of me when i got stuck here. Damn now that i think about it that was over 10 years ago now...

depends on what decade are we talking here. My first jeep back in 1975 a cj2, grew up in Tahoe so the Rubicon trails was our back yard.

This decade back in 2011 I took our new 012 rubi off the lot here in Az and in 5 minutes it was pin stripped and finding that plastic anything wont hold up.

After the paper work was finished on my LJ and had the keys. There was a mud pit behind the dealership. Didn't even get it on a real road once it was mine to get it dirty. Haven't looked back.

Bought a 92 YJ a few years ago, had a hard top and half doors. Took the doors off when the PO handed over the keys, then went and did some light wheelin on the way home. Got home and took the hard top off and got rid of it. Now here I am with a broken Jeep that will soon be on the trails again.

I bought mine earlier this summer and drove my first trail within a week. Despite being a 10 year old Jeep, I put the first dent in the skid plate a couple months later!

Bought my 03 TJ from my uncle. She was a street queen. Never had the intention to get into it as far as I am, or want to be down the road. I put on a RC lift kit. I actually met of my good friends through my Jeep. Went up back where he lives and did some ol' washed out fire trails. Dragged the stock hitch, learned many a new things. Tossed my friend the keys and said, "have at it."

Now I have the Jeep itch, and many plans for. She's back to being a street queen while I am slowly buying the parts it install my 8.8 I have lying around. Have a pile of parts as it is in my room right now.
