...when the day after you buy it, it rains and you find three inches of water behind the driver seat so you pull out all the carpet and throw it in a box instead of taking it back to the dealership to fix the leaking top.

Never forget that every day, to ensure your way of life; good men must do evil things

when you actually take off tons of accessories and other parts that came with the Jeep when you bought it like those cheap sidesteps, bumper ends, carpet, top, doors, etc.
...when you drive down the road and are constantly sizing up different objects/obstacles that you could climb and/or go through

. . . when you can look directly through the steering wheel opening while driving and see all your gauges, also when you get so excited about your budget boost lift only to be disappointed 3 seconds after you put it on because you want it to be bigger.

You know you own a TJ when...

1) You always enjoy having to lift chicks into the Jeep

2) All the other Land Rover, FJ, Hummer, etc owners beg you to drive through
the huge mud hole of unknown depth first for the sole reason being you have
drain plugs...

3) You wake up one morning and find yourself underneath the Jeep

4) You always have a nice set of earplugs for those long road trips

You come up behind a car at the red light and either smile because your headlights are hitting them in the back of the head, or you think, instead of passing I could probably climb over that car.

when customers and employees at the local parts store start asking you for help and advice.

when instead of parking in a parking spot you find the biggest mound of snow in the lot and park on it.

You know you own a TJ when your father drops it off back to you after borrowing it and demands to know why he was waved at all day

When you hit a bump, your guages cut out, and instead of getting worried you just smack the top of the dash to turn them back on again...

Or when you finally buy a tj and while googling jeep stuff on the web you get so many results from a forum called 'JeepForum.com' that it's hard NOT to join up.

I've been trying to explain to people how awesome having a jeep is...they just don't get it.

This thread delivers.

- When you wave at another jeep only to discover upon closer inspection that it has never been off road and is being driven by a 50 year old business women.

Signatures are for attention whores.

Oh the irony.
