You know you own a TJ when you get in it on cold days and you get that familiar "squeak" from the steering wheel. It sounds like the wookie Chewbacca from Star Wars at times.

......it's freezing outside so you turn on the heater and it will only blow out through the defroster.

I just found out this a common problem. It is finally cold enough for this to happen.

......when you have a secret stash of money hidden in you sock drawer you call the "Jeep Tire fund"

.....when you find a better way to mod your TJ because you spend all you time on JF

When "older" guys start talking to you how they always wanted one, but then got there girlfriend or wife pregnant

or when you walk out of walmart and have a group of fellow Jeepers crowded around it, including one underneath it trying to look at your set up.

or when everyone else in your chain of command starts buying Jeeps

or when you start off with a budget boost, then 3", then 4" and before you know it you are at 7" total lift and still thinking of new ideas

or when you wash your Jeep, it turns into several different parts (doors, top, carpet) laying across the carwash bays...

When you just get done washing it, but as you drive down the road you see a trail that you never been down and can't help but to explorer.

or when you could go around something, but decide to just go over it instead...

Or when you open your door and it swings over the car next to you

or when you twist your ankle jumping out

or when you have random people stopping you and telling you that your Jeep motivates them

You know you own a TJ when you race home from work to get the Quadratec box off the porch that the UPS man left before your wife gets home and sees it!!!

You know you own a TJ when there are so many empty beer cans in the garage that there is no place to put your tools!!!

I guess that's what my roommate is referring to when he says I have a "Jeep fetish."

Bingo. And I thought I was the only one who had to listen to that. Whenever there's jeep on the computer, I hear "so, you looking at more jeep porn?"

ooh, one more.......

...whenever you are working on the computer and have to type the word "life" or "live" and instead your fingers type "lift". I can't even count how many times I've done that.

when you buy wrangler that's 3 years old, and the first time it rains, you find 2 water leaks... you don't call the dealer back because you know it's normal...

when you take a girl down the trail to get a BJ so her boy friend will never find out...
