So I picked up a 15 gal tank skid. I'm thinkin it was for a metal tank cause its way smaller than my original. It fits and bolts in but I had to add an inch to the front mounting location for my tank to squeeze in there. And I think I broke a vent or the hose just popped off during install cause its leakin some fuel. Ill check it out and post up what I find.
So to recap yes the skid for the 15 gal metal tank does work for the plastic 20 tank. With some modification. It doesn't cover all the way to the ends of the larger tank either (see pic). Ill be adding some steel to cover what's not protected. I kinda want to just cut out my rear floor to move the tank up more but haven't talked myself into that yet. Also looked into a cell. Cheaper than I thought. 15 gal for $100. Definitely a future upgrade coming soon.

Ha no worries. I figured It out. It works and gave me a little more clearance. Glad I did it.
