Wrangler, no battery power when it rains

Jumping in to start the Jeep, it will not start. No power/no crank/no lights. I get only power to the stero deck, but it has a separate power cable to amp/etc...
Then after not starting, if I keep trying, it will eventually provide power to start up, and its good until I turn off the engine. Anyone ever see this happen? Any thoughts?

Remove, clean, inspect, and firmly reattach all the wires to the battery, alternator, and starter. Repair or replace any defective cable and connectors. Do the same for the smaller ground wires from the battery and engine block to the body/frame.

You symptoms are typical of a loose or dirty power connection.

did you install any aux lights?

possible that your connections aren't covered and rain is getting on them?

I cleaned all contacts and jeep now has power, for now. The terminals and all other contacts seemed to be fine, with very little corrosion.I have a strange suspicion this didnt fix the problem, only prolonged it.
I forgot to mention in my first thread that the odometer has displayed in the past, "no bus", but not during this recent incident. I have this odd feeling that this is related in some way. I read some other posts concerning this, and have not started to tear out the instrument panels to tighten the connections...thats because the rain should be going away and this only seems to happen when it raining.

Check your grounds. Make sure your ground wires are connected and have a good connection. If you offroad something may have come loose or got yanked off. There are a number of these however they are typically bolted to the frame or metal part of the Jeep and are shielded (covered in black insolation).

No bus is a separate issue. No bus is either a bad connection behind the instrument panel and the Jeep runs, or the Crank Position Sensor (CPS) is failed and it will crank and crank but never run.
