I'm pretty sure I know what I'm talking about. I think...
[QUOTE=JBTJ;20074425]Who cares what other people think. What do you think? It's your JEEP. Some people have bad A JEEPS painted brown, I think that looks like crap. Do you think they are going to repaint it?[/QUOTE
that's what I'm going for but can't get tires just yet.
It's fine it might look a little goofy but who cares. I did the same thing a few years back with my YJ I put 4 inches on it with 29's I was in high school at the time and was working my *** off for the parts.
I had ordered a white ’02 TJ with the smallest tires available (29 or smaller if possible) because I had plans to build it up. I ended up trading it in for a TJ Rubi before the build started. When I brought it into the dealership the GM said it looked like a mail truck with the white paint and those “goofy tires”. The jeep was still stock; no lift.
OP, I say go for it, but in answer to your question, yes it will look goofy. I ran 31s on a 2.5 in lift. That looked great until I did custom flat fenders with 6in flares. My jeep looked pretty goofy especially since they were 31x10.5s and the flare stuck out far past the tires. Now i am on 35x12.5s and my jeep looks much better! I will post some pics later today if I can find any.
