Moving. And just to prove that there's a full size recliner in there...

You should bolt that recliner in there. I mean, people talk about wanting comfy seats all the time!

FYI, a roof top tent will not fit in the back of an LJ with a modified roll cage. it will fit on top however

It's all in the name - Roof Top Tent...not "inside, under the roof" tent...

I fit this:

Plus a 125 cu ft bottle (the big one), 120 lbs of mig wire, and two welding helms in it this summer with the top off. It was 98 degrees that day, i dont have AC and i spent an hour in gridlock traffic heading north out of metro Detroit. I will never forget how hot that was.

For those interested, the welder fit with about 1/4-3/8" room to spare, the bottle was wrapped in a tarp and i had to recline my passenger seat to fit it in up there. Everything else was just packed neatly around the little bit of empty space i had left.

Just found this thread! I may have to try out the recliner sometime. This is from a camping trip with two of us up front with more bags piled onto our laps, a whole box of fireworks, countless "beverages", enough food for our crew of 10 guys, several duffel bags, and my good buddy in the back. We unloaded and loaded everything several times and this proved to be the only way everything would fit. Even had to hang the bag of chips on my mirror, which proved very handy for snacking convenience. (first time posting a pic so I hope it shows up)

Sent from my turtle in a half shell.

Not so much in, but on. Couple of 4x8' pegboard sheets and one by twos for the garage.

I hope this isn't just a story, and that guy really had to ride in the back.

Even though I couldn't see or communicate with him, he was definitely back there for the 4 hour trip haha
