My parents used to have a cat that loved to sleep on the soft top. I hated it because I was afraid she would stick her claws through it. Anyways, one time my dad was driving down the highway at 45 MPH and he heard this tiny 'mew.' He thought "Nawwwww..." and kept going... until he started hearing a "MEOW! MEEEOOOWWW!!"

The cat stayed on the roof rack of his Jeep for 5 miles before it started to REALLY make a fuss...

The same cat didn't really have a problem with being in a moving car, but she HATED to be in a box. She literally ripped a cardboard box she was inside to shreds in 1 hour's time. Right as we pulled into the driveway she got out of the box.

When we were trying to sell our house, we had to take the FOUR cats out of it; so we had kennels for them to sleep in in the vehicle(s). One cat would hide (he would NOT go ANYWHERE), two of them wouldnt care. The last one, would climb right into the kennel. Wed say 'Come on, we are going for a drive' and that cat would go in his kennel and look at us. Ive NEVER seen a cat do that...

Wow that is crazy... closest thing I've ever seen is when we went camping there was an RV and he had two cats that lived in it full-time.

It was mostly luck and some cargo straps. Pretty funny with the bell sticking out, band director wasnt happy with how I got it around though.
