why are people so determined that a lifted jeep with taller tires can't go 100mph? is it some magic number? I'm quite sure mine will hit 100, I've been 90+ with no trouble.

I have no trouble believing I could hit 100mph with 33s. 90 was easy and there was plenty of room left to go faster.

Indeed Though you won't find me posting a video of doing 100mph, I'm pretty sure that's criminally speeding on most roads,

It was only taking a look at that video that reminded me your speedos only go to 100. Ours (UK spec) go to 110 mph.

I have no reason to believe mine wouldn't get to 100mph if I tried. But would I do it? NO! Question is was the OP probably going 100mph? I doubt it.

I understand the notion of "a man has to know his limitations",but this thread is almost like can a ten speed bike do 100 mph. Yes, but why would you? My mountain goat (jeep) is right at home at 1 or 2 mph and is fast at 10-15 in most two trackers. As a daily driver at 55 is pointless since as jeep says " worth the view". I'm glad you guys are pushing the envelope.
