I drive a CJ and wave at YJ, TJ, and JK and I expect all of them to wave back, my CJ is their Jeep's great granddaddy.

I've owned a CJ7 for a few months and have observed all varieties of Jeep owners not waving, kind of caught off guard when one does. Speaking for CJ owners that don't wave...it could be they need to keep both hands on the steering wheel!

I get waves back from cjs yjs and tjs all the time but I rarely get one back from a jk.... I ussualy dont bother anymore unless its modded and obviously a jeep guy. If they wave I always wave back though its not a disrespect thing by any means.

You're just encountering the various clueless people who also don't wave to TJs, YJs, and CJs. Believe it or not, not everyone waves, only the strikingly handsome and beautiful Jeepers do.

That's one thing I DON'T understand. What kind of "Jeeper" gives the finger back? I don't get it.

I drive 18 wheelers for a living so I'm used to getting flipped off......

not sure how I'd react if a Jeeper did it..

I stopped being bothered when someone driving a JK doesn't wave to me. Surprisingly enough I've gotten quite a few JK's initiating the wave, including those "soccer mom type females" who everybody thinks are the anti-waving ones.

The only time I get aggravated by someone who does not return a wave is when they are driving a heavily modified Wrangler and don't wave back to me. Only because if they are driving that type of vehicle the tradition should already be ingrained in them. Then again there's times when I've been waved to and haven't waved back simply because I'm texting, picking my nose, sun was in my eyes, etc. etc.

People need to stop getting so butthurt about it.

If I start waiving at JK owners do I have to also wave at Hummer owners?

I hope no one in a Denali gets upset.
