What year model do you have and what's your fuel mileage

I have a 2000 and get about 14 but a friend has an 07 and says he gets about 19. I'm ready to sell my 00 and get something a little newer, I don't want a new one but if I can a little better fuel mileage, that would be good. What do you have and what kind of mileage do you get?

2004 TJ X i bought in 06.
I have no idea what my gas mileage is.
I keep it running good with all the necessary maintenance.
So, whatever my mpg's are, it's as good as it's going to get.

My driving is always a mix of highway and city. I also have aggressive passing tendencies

My 05 TJ Sport was manual with 3.73 axles: Pre lift with factory tires 16-17mpg. 2" lift with 32x11.5 BFG AT got me down to 14mpg

My 13 JKU Rubicon, manual with 4.10 gears: Currently pre lift, 15mpg average.

A JK with 19mpg? possible with extensive, non aggressive highway driving using a numerically lower axle ratio. I've seen a few around here claim their lifted with 37s can get 20mpg, but I'm skeptical what you can regear to get it.

Before I moved I was getting 21 pretty consistently. 30 miles of highway driving each way to work. Stock 2010 2 door jk sahara with 3.21 gear ratio and a 6 speed. Now my commute is about half back roads and only a few miles of highway. My numbers dropped to about 18. I am expecting that to drop further when the lift and tires go on in the spring.

I average 14-15 mpg city.

13' JK 6sp with 3:73's
35" MT/R's with steelies
heavy duty front bumper and rear tire carrier with 35" spare
2.5" TF BB

If it's not supposed to move and does use duct tape.
If it's supposed to move and doesn't use WD40
