I like to refer to my 91 YJ as the B••b bouncer. My wifes not too impresses with that though which by the way makes it better.

Our first YJ was named Lazarus as we raised it from the dead.

The unofficial name of our current YJ is "Ed" because it's maroon with a tan top, tan rock slides and tan fender flares (Eddie Bauer - esc). Not sure how the name's gonna stick though. My wife just calls it The Jeep. Which is odd because my son has a ZJ which she calls the Cherokee.

1996 White ZJ
1987 Maroon YJ (sideways build)
1996 Forest Green XJ

Interesting thread. I have never named any of my trucks/cars. All of my Harleys were named after female names in Grateful Dead songs. One of my Sportsters was Delilah, the other was Althea, and my Softail was Bertha, but I never even thought about naming the Jeep- it always seemed like a Motorcycle thing to me. I dunno, maybe I'll give it some thought.......

From an old Navy Senior Chief when I called him sir- "Son, don't call me SIR! I knew who my Father was!"
