What's the Going Rate for TJ Hard Top in good condition?

Thinking of selling...there are none on Craigslist in all of SFBay, and the pickings seem slim on the Classified here... Off my 99TJ, No Tint, No Defrost, Originally Tan/Spice, Painted Black (needs a bit of touchup under window). Good Glass and no cracks...

Depends on area, I would say anywhere from $700-1200. Around here they are in more demand because it's cold here, so they commonly go for around $1000.

I paid 900 for mine. If you can sell it during the winter you'll probably get more. 700-1200 is a good range, 1200 being absolutely perfect.

It does rain.... but yah 50-60's most of the "winter"...

thanks guys, I offered to my Local Club first, and would prefer it goto someone I knew locally and not have to deal with the whole Craigslist hassle...It would even be worth a couple hundred less to not deal with that. I was guessing a little low, but it's not perfect, so I guess we'll just have to see... if I sold, I'd just about pay for my new 35" tires (and probably more than would when I sell my current 33's).

I also have the Bestop HOSS cart and cover and a hoist that I planned on throwing in.

I paid 500 for mine, unpainted but in otherwise good condition. The guy even helped me take down my soft top and stuff it in the back so i could get home. Yours looks in great condition, but is the demand high for them out there? Its cold as heck here in Michigan, i would have paid just about double what i did for a hard top.

I don't think the are in hi demand here, and I would have been better off trying to sell in Oct/Nov, but I wasn't 100% sure I guess.

Not a peep from anyone in my club, so I guess I'll stick it out on Cragislist and see what happens.

Thanks everyone!

Well, if something happens, and you still have it this summer, I might talk my wife into driving down from Seattle, maybe I could catch a glimpse of Michael Crabtree while down there :P

Well, I don't know about Crabtree, but the Kicker, Joe Nedney live a few blocks over... I see him at the Grocery store every now and then.

Just sold the top for $900 to the first guy from Craigslist that came to look at it... I threw in the hard top cart/cover and hoist since I figured I wouldn't need any of that any more!

As long as he doesn't flake on Sat for pickup, looks like I got 35" tire $$$ now!!!
