What the Hell Just Happened???

I'm still in shock

Stay with me because this story takes a twist ....

Last month I had a dealership hunt for a used wrangler for me.
They located one in an auction and instantly I told them to get it.

07 Wrangler X
67,000 miles
Manual Trans
Soft Top

17,000

I loved it
Finally had my first Jeep

Suddenly I found issues with the jeep
As suspected with auction items

The dealership replaced
Clutch
Throttle Body
Slave Cylinder
Leaky Soft Top fixes

All free of charge
(yeah I know they had to anyway but still....)

I put my own work into it
Cold Air Intake
Rock Rails
Full Body Armor
Euro Guards
Etc......

Today the clutch was giving me issues again
I went to the dealership and they offered me a swap....

Yeah you heard me

They just got a 08 Jeep Wrangler X
28,000 miles
Manual Trans
Power Windows and Locks
Hard Top and Soft Top

They traded in my old Jeep and did a even price swap for the New one

Legit no games or price increases

It looks and drives mint
Not a scratch anywhere

Hold on....
I just got a one year newer Jeep
With 40,000+ less miles
With power options
And a Hard Top????

What the Hell Just Happened????

One in a million right ?

I am sad however that I now need to take all my adds off and transfer them again

Plus the 08 doesn't have Fog Lights in the front bumper like my 07

Not sure why

Anyway

I wanted to share my story

Thoughts?

Answers about the 08 differences from the 07

Here is a pic of them side by side
08 on the left
07 on the right

direction

as fast as you

can

before they

want it back.

If I were

you I would

keep my mouth

shut, because you

never know. They

might indeed want it

back. Then you are ****

out of luck.

Either way, that is

one hell of a deal.

If I had to speculate, all of the work and money the dealer is pumping into keeping the 07 running at their cost isn't worth the small loss they'd take on the 08....if they're even taking a loss. You don't know what they gave the guy that traded it in.

You got a good deal, they got away from a bad buy at auction.

Congrats.

Thanks guys

I completely agree I actually believe that they decided to give me this new Jeep because they were afraid of all the money they were pumping into the old one for free for me

They can never take it back because they Artie paid off the other jeep and are taking it back and I signed over papers yesterday to own the new Jeep

Everything is as legit as it can possibly be

As I said a few small issues the front bumper does not have fog lights like my 2007

And it also does not have a tow package in the back but these are all things that can be added later on I suppose I'm just kind of upset a little bit that the bumper in the front is different and that I have to change all of my things over to the new Jeep

But like you guys said it's a one in a lifetime opportunity and I need to take this and run as far okay as I possibly can because this would never happen to me or any of you ever again
