What headlamps are you using?

Trying to get some ideas for my Jeep. Thinking about going with E-Code lamps. What are you using?

HID is out of the question.

Daniel Stern is a great site for info. I run E code Cibie housings on my LJ. I'm putting Trucklight LEDs on the JK.

I just put a set of the autopal housings in my tj. LOVE them. They are awesome and a crisp clear white light with the bulbs they come with. Double thumbs up.

Ask about my Custom Paracord Jeep Stuff!!
Door straps, rollbar grab handles, bracelets.

I disagree, a lot of information is outdated, since the site was put up years ago before we had a full understanding of how HID optics work.

All of the concepts on what driving lights are what a proper cutoff should be and the effects of light color all still apply. Good HID optics have proper cut-offs, The cheap one don't. DOT standards still suck compared to European.

I bought mine from blackbirdlighting.com

They are pricey though so a cheaper route is the hella ecodes with an upgraded harness. Seems most everyone who goes that route loves them.
