There is some mis-information in this thread. The media that is used is a Cast Adhesive Vinyl (no glue needed). There are 3 major players that manufacture this product (3m = 180Cv3, Avery = MPI 1105, Arlon = 6000XRP). All would need a corresponding Cast UV laminate to protect the ink.

The media is printed with either solvent or latex inks. You will need to find a print shop that can create the print file, print, laminate. If it is a repeating pattern then you don't need a template for them to layout design elements to fall in the right place on the vehicle.

Lastly you will need an installer. The installer could be a print shop or someone that just installs. For a clean install you need someone with experience especially on the curved surfaces.

As a rough ballpark you are probably looking at $8-$10 per sq foot for printed and installed. (location, shops involved, media selection, design, etc will all have an impact on that ballpark price).

CNY likes this.

I meant to say adhesive promoter around the edges of the body panels. It helps from possible peeling of the vinyl. Po doesn't want to shell out around 3k for a wrap. It's not really that hard once you get the rhythm just takes a bit of time. I've wrapped a few 4 wheelers for some people and they all look just fine to this day.
