vibration after taken outa 4 wheel drive

alright i have a 95 jeep wrangler yj. it has free runnin hubs i reckon. now since ive had it whenever i take it outa 4 wheel drive it has this slight vibration for about half a mile and then just goes away. now 4 days ago i had it in 4 wheel drive and when i took it out it done the usual. except it never quit vibrating. ive drove it every day since and still nothing. ive backed up and all that but i guess the hubs are still locked in cause the front wheels don't spin when i get on it but the back ones do. so im guessing the hubs havent unlocked but i don't know. can anyone please help me and tell me what is wrong and how to fix it?
