Dang Jerry, 10yrs has really taking a toll on ya.

And I completely agree on doing it for you kid. Mabey it will get him/her interested in wheelin. NEVER too early to get em started in the outdoors. ITs also a bonus cause its something both of you can relate too farther down the road.

If you think the smilie face is just for the posers take a look at these. Can't say that to this guy!
(not my rig)

It's not only for posers. It's just that more posers run smilies than other covers. Well, or they are just ubiquitous in general. Be unique. Be more subtle. Go for something more plain.

I like the smiles its sorta nostalgic. Kinda like the guy on here with the white wagon wheels it reminds me of when I was growing up.

Now someone bring back desert dog tires LOL.

there is nothing cooler than a serious Jeep with a special accommodation for a kid!

True they're common but there is nothing wrong with them.

(it also says that the owner doesn't take his 'macho' too seriously)

I couldn't agree more! When I was repainting my mirrors, the high-build primer I was using happened to be bright yellow. My girlfriend's 2 year old son was assisting me. He made a suggestion, so I went with it. Grabbed a Sharpie, took his advice, and then actually drove my Jeep around for a few weeks with Spongebob mirrors! There is NOTHING wrong with having a sense of humor, especially if it makes a kid happy.

Sand down the mouth on the smily and make it a snarl... Or if its the lights you have next to the Warn... Sand em down and make em look like eyes

Nothing wrong with the smiley's but I personally don't prefer them, never even took mine out of the plastic. I went with a black and white theme as the rest of my Jeep is mainly these two colors. Got them on amazon for cheap.

Make your kid happy.
Protect the lights
Screw what 'serious wheelers' OR posers think. Your Jeep should make you and your kid happy, no one else matters.
