Sweet man! You gonna get that jeep dirty? Unfortunately my gecko green wrangler will still be stock because I just ordered it and can't really afford to do anything to it yet. Ha! But I will be out on the trails no doubt.

As I understand it there are a ton of forest trails up there that are not paved but not too difficult. Being from out of town I plan to hit those types of trails.

You going to NMU? I went there for a couple years back in the early 90s. Beautiful area, plenty of places to trail ride for sure.

Yeah man like I said my jeep will be stock so I can't take on anything too crazy. Although a stock jeep I must say can handle a lot. So yeah the trails here are perfect for any level.

Planning a trip to Drummond Island the week before the Jeep Jamboree. Any tips on the trails there or where to eat in the evening?

Sorry it took so long to get back with ya. Not too sure on places close to the jamboree to eat but hope you are having fun! I am so jealous I get my jeep next Friday! Tell me how the jamboree works so I know how much money to bring and what they need out of me. Thanks

That's the ore load by the breakwall in Marquette isn't it? The island is fun when a good lake storm is kicking up the 30' swells by the cliffs!

It sure is! Agreed! Those storms make for one hell of a good time. Love it up here! Off roading everywhere! Can't wait to get this baby dirty. New tires going on in just a couple hours.
