Upholstery

I did the search thing, but did not find anything pertaining directly to my question. If you have had new upholstery put on your factory seats, what did it cost? Front seats and rear folding seat. Not looking for leather or anything expensive, just something similar to the factory covers.

I'm having mine currently being redone in marine grade vinyl. All said and done, I should be under 2g's. Cloth should be less expensive.

Jeez, I've had two cars done with impressive quality (better than OEM) leather for a little over $1k.

Thanks for the responses. I am looking to go back with the factory cloth/vinyl or something similar, nothing expensive.

I got two quotes from local shops and they were both 300 a seat for vinyl. I chose to go with some Iggee seat covers instead.

I have their upholstery in my yj, quality is good and pretty easy to install, just watch how your old upholstery comes off. also, the hog ring pliers they supply are junk, you can find a good set on ebay.

Do you have anything against "seat covers" ??

There are many strong durable color choice mfgs out there-

I've had IGGEE "synleather" for years and is still looking like black leather--no tears/rips/sewing trauma-

Checkitout-

For $300 a seat you could completely replace them.

I know! I just didn't want to fool with adapter brackets, and the iggees I have on the way will make my seats look just fine. I actually like the factory seats and think they are pretty comfortable.
