UCONNECT iPhone problems

Can anybody enlighten me about the problem with iPhone being able to SMS texting? Will not allow me to send or receive. I just purchased a new Wrangler and tried to setup all the UCONNECT features. Everything else seems to work fine.

I did see the so called work around using the Dragon app. It works sending but still a lot of screen touching on the iPhone.

All help appreciated.

My dealership told me that the iphone works great....for calls but not for sms. I now use a Nokia, and Uconnect will read sms but not send. It makes all the right noises such as sample messages which may be sent, but when I try to send the message...Fail! Uconnect leaves a lot to be desired and should be better.
