Traded TJ in for a JK today!
Bought an exact same spec'd 2010 2dr, Sahara, Black, 3.71, Trac-Lock, 6-speed near invoice. Taking delivery next week, LI dealer got it from some dealer in NJ.
I was extremely!!! undecided before we hit the dealer this morning. I test drove a WRX, Golf TDI, Prius, Corolla, G35, and civic..none were my TJ, however, I needed a new DD, and was thinking of keeping the TJ, and buying a "practical" i.e. civic. (TJ would have been garaged over 100 miles away, therefore, I would probably never drive it expect during the Summer when I visit my parents) Anyway, the salesman moved like 4 jeeps in the snow, and pulled out a 2dr Sport 6-Speed with 2 miles on it for a test drive. About a quarter mile down the road i was sold, hit 70 mph and could actually have a conversation. Pulled into a college parking lot, and hit the speed bumps without having to yell "brace for impact" or "hold on!!!"
Bottom line, I am happy with JK, however, a little bummed I am trading the TJ into the dealer. They are only giving me $6,500 for it. But my dad hates the thing, and I don't really have the time to sell it. Anyway, if you got Cash and live on LI, and want a TJ this week, I will sell it for $8,000 in a heart beat to a forum member. Need 100K service, brakes, tires, and windshield. Other than that it has been trouble free for 92,000 (touble free for a TJ, not compared to a regular car)
R.I.P next week, I am thinking of putting a note in it for the next owner. I hope they love it as much as I do.
Pulling crap off of the TJ tommorow, will post pics of for sale items after the new years. About a dozen items or so.
Really thinking of pulling of the Mickey Thompson Classic lock wheels with BF 32x11.5s and putting back on the Canyon wheels. I have a set of 32" MTRs with 40" tred I could toss the the Mickeys for off-roading only.
Can't wait to pick up the JK, and going to resist mods for at least the first year.

I stopped at the local dealer this sunday to oogle over the JKs. They had a nice wrangler x, auto (id rather have the 6 speed), black, with the 32 goodyear MTs that the rubicon has. Sticker said 26k. I really want one but the yj is paid off and I could build a very nice YJ for 26k.

Lol at the speed bumps comment... My brother has a TJ and I thought his shocks or something were bad. Everytime you go over a speed bump it about slings you out the seat. I wouldnt take a TJ off road without a full blown off road/racing seat and harness.

A well setup TJ will ride as nicely as a similarly equipped JK. 5 link suspension and solid axles on both ends for both vehicles. I test drove a JK and thought it handled and felt very similarly to my TJ.
