What sarcasm, and why would I be aiming it at you?

agreed and what kind of man would make his wife drive the old tj while he drove the newer jk??

Of course. Ok, ok, the JK is cool but everyone says it has a comfortable ride which is not what the Jeep is about! TJs, YJs, CJs, Willys, Flatfenders you name it, they ride and drive like..like a JEEP! JKs drive and ride like...a car

The new JK's are looking more and more like a Hummer in many ways, Jeep Wranglers always look better smaller, not just because I own a 04 am I saying this, I could buy a newer JK if I wanted but the smaller TJ's seem to be more of a Jeep, also lighter to flat tow behind my motorhome.

JK's have there place for those that want more room and to haul groceries and for a daily driver, however my TJ is just a extra fun toy, no groceries or daily driver here..

Smaller is better when off roading..

Totally agreed, we've probably just started a war, let's take cover! Honestly, my TJ is super fun to drive and I'm proud of it. I feel better than everyone when I'm driving it because I love the looks of it, I love driving with the top off and everything. It's just so fun to drive, the bounciness, the rough ride, narrow yet still wide enough to scratch the **** out of the paint on narrow trails. I also love waving to fellow Jeepers and hate when new JK owners dont know what the heck is up with the tradition and look at me like I'm a freak. Anyway, all the modded JK owners usually wave back, so that's good.

My 1999 TJ survived a hail storm in Chicago that caused millions of dollars of damage to a lot of vehicles. Here is a JK that didn't survive a hail storm. JK have better MPG but at a cost! They have thinner metal and a ton of plastic. If a Jk can't survice a hail storm that occurs several times a year, what can it survive?

Was your TJ parked in the same lot right next to the JK's?

Friend of mine has a nicely built 4 door JK and commented on how he had to buy a better hood for the thing since the stock one was so flimsy it looked like it would blow of the thing, doors are made out of beer can material according to him. He loves the thing but isn't impressed with the sheetmetal on it. It makes a nice poser Jeep on 37's with coil overs but he is afraid to to some decent trails with it for fear of breaking it
