I just got Firestone MT's put on my stock Rubicon 245/75/16.

$650.00 out the door....

But I had help....buddy works for Bridgestone and got me a killer employee discount.

I ask the tire guy what retail was.....$1034.00

I took very good care of my buddy....dinner and a bottle of Crown Royal.

The Goodyear Wrangler Authority's at Walmart are $158 for the 31x10.5x15
size. Just put a set on my 06 TJ and they handle and ride very good.

Thanks everyone. I'm interested in the Wrangler Duratracs in 33/1250/r15 since I will soon be putting a 3.25 lift on. Any opinions on these?

Looks like a good tire, although I have no first hand experience with them.

To me, the best "deal" is from Discount Tire with their road hazard certificates. If you do any wheeling where you tend to beat up tires, it's hard to beat being able to replace a tire for the cost of a new certificate with almost no questions asked.

I agree on the local tire shop, I shopped internet, found the best tire deal, went to my local guy and he was actually within 50 bucks of the online deal. That was tires and wheels too.

I last bought tires from Tire Discounters and have found the local shop to be exceptional. I had wheel spacers, stock wheels, and wanted to keep my best two old tires for use with my offroad trailer. The folks at my local Tire Discounters had no trouble with any of this, though other places I called outright refused to work with spacers, or tried to hard sell me on two new tires and wheels for my trailer or gave me some other variety of grief over my plans. Since my purchase I've been back a couple of times for air ups with nitrogen and to have other minor work done. They also yanked the rotted out military tires my trailer came with from the wheels so I could sell them. Again, additional work for them, but no additional cost to me. All of this great service with tire prices that were at or below what their competitors locally and online were charging. Of course, YMMV, but check them out if you can.

Cheers,
Adam

Sorry about the lack of clarity on that post.
. I have the Duratracs in the size you are looking for with about 1000 miles on them. I really like them, but may be going to 35s. If you were closer, I was going to talk to you about selling them to you. Since you're in Arkansas, it's probably not worth it to you to buy mine since shipping would cost you a lot.
