For those who bought a rig painted by the PO. How do you find out the exact paint code they used? I've got a few areas I need to touch up, but there are so many paint colors that are really close to mine, I have no idea exactly what paint code they used. Can a body shop identify the exact color?

Probably not. There are so many different books of colors, would be hard.

There's even a local O'Riellys Auto parts store here with an in-house paint mixing shop. They do a computer color match and will custom mix and will even put it in a spray can.

Most autopaint supply shops have a color eye scanner that can get you a matching color code
