Beautiful. Exact same as mine began color and all minus the hard top.
X2 on the reading + get a winch and play with it stock before putting $$ into anything else. That way you'll learn exactly what you need as everyone's are different. Congrats.
I'll go into left field by not suggesting what to do with your suspension or tires. As mentioned, you need to research some before jumping into that.
Instead, I'll toss out an easy little item that plagues all Wranglers...The crappy hood catches that don't hold the hood still. Many people complain about watching the hood bounce up and down while driving down the highway or on windy days. While it's unlikely they will actually let the hood fly open, it's annoying and at times unnerving to watch bounce at 70mph.
So, one of my basic upgrades is better latches. And surprisingly, it's something that gets noticed by a lot of Wrangler owners who've never seen them before that have told me they now want them. I have this set, but there are several others available: https://www.quadratec.com/products/13104_0412.htm
I find this one interesting. I know many people worry about it, but in hundreds of thousands of miles in jeeps it has never been something I worried about. It is a cheap, easy way to scratch the itch of doing something though. I completely get that and have been in that position many times.
Most clubs require some basic safety equipment just to run trails, start there. Run a few trails and have some fun. Your stock Rubicon will do just fine. The only other thing I'd get is something to put air in your tires after you get done on the trail. If your shocks are worn get a set of stock height Rancho 5000x replacements - now is not the time to get a small lift.
Keep that thing stock as long as you can, mods on a Rubicon will do nothing but lower its value and empty your pocket book. Save the money for gas and regular maintenance.

i upgraded the pulls with daystars like this.....but then again i'm not doing much off roading....just higher speeds like 70-80mph on interstate, but man are these things tight.....
ok, wait let me clarify..........when i hear mod i think
-huge tires
-aftermarket wheels
-lift
-winch (for the looks, not function)
-flares
i have upgraded mine, conveniences if you will, like getting the seats remade/reinforces then adding bartacs.......adding head rests to the rear seat for the kids.....adding cmm grab handles to save the steering wheel when getting in......lining the tub......
My girl calls my jeep my "mistress" ( I don't know why cause I ain't even j'ed off in the back YET) but I prefer to take back roads anyhow. Something about shifting through the gears and tuning into my Jeep that just relaxes me
