I HAD a friend like that he has a 4 runner tho he even went so fsrbto blame me for him failing a climb and had to get pulled by a stock Rubi he has a locked back diff. We r no longer friends because one time my jeep failed me when my clutch alt and starter went our on me on the trail and he soo calls it that I yelled at him to get his trailer and tow me home, he towed me home and that was that never talked to me again I tried to make things right but he didn't want to so that was that he was a good friend but just give in and let him have his fun.

Me and him always went at it when we went off roading I have a limited slip and hes locked rear and I always did things that he had or even couldn't make it, if u ask me its not worth fighting over it, I introduced him and all of his friends to off roading after the fight I I was kinda left out of every thing kinda I wheel alone now or with jeepers from my Calgary forums

Why dont you just invite him for wheeling? And then leave him back there (dont actually do this, but you know what I mean)

How does he know his is better if he won't get it dirty? He's just trying to get you going.

THIS!

I've got a friend who has a Pathfinder on 37's. He talks s*** all the time about how great his Toyota is compared to my YJ on 31's. I have a simple reply. It goes something like this: Really? hmmm, everytime you go off road you come back with $500-2,000 in suspension and/or drive train damage. Everytime I go off road, I drive mine home.

Land Cruiser is infinitely better than a pos Pathfinder. You'd know this if you drove one

I've got a friend that had a land cruiser, somehow that thing seemed to be able to go anywhere. Problem was it was a money pit, he finally sold it.

The FJ Cruiser Is vary good off road. My 07 has a 3in lift, rock sliders, 285 tera grapplers and it is my DD. I look at the 4 door jeep but went with the FJ. Yes I will take it off road. But I have the jeep that I have had sense 1991 for top less driving and wheeling.

You're all missing the point. This ****** breaks something EVERY time he goes out, and not just little stuff either. We're talking blown pinion rings, exploded axle shafts, you know, major stuff. And he says my Jeep is a weak little POS. Really? Hmmm, who drives home every time and who NEEDS a trailer wherever they go?

sounds like you have plenty of ammo to sissy fight back.

That or ignore his successful attempts to get under your skin.

Exactly, he's trying to get under your skin(successfully). I've got a camaro, street legal driver that runs 11 sec quarter mile, my friend has a 9 sec twin turbo mustang with over 100g invested in it that runs 9 sec 1/4 mile. Guess who talks more ****? I do, one cause its fun and two cause there's no way I can beat him on the track so I try and beat him off it. But he is smart and humble and just laughs off my **** talking and that's why we can stay good friends... He knows you jeep is better off road, but your obviously fun to talk shot to, so just don't let it get to you.
