State Trust Land Permit, a half-gal of OJ, and a chick that needed to go away.

almost lost the dog today. True story. I was going down the street to the kangaroo and out the door the dog went. Thank God he had a leash on and I was able to catch him. I still feel horrible about it. I had the leash wrapped so he couldnt get out and I was only going about 5-7 mph and somehow he houdinied and got just loose enough. I am really upset about this.

I tend to just throw my Zune in the center console when speeds reach higher than like 50... its not like you can really hear it at that speed, especially topless and doorless

thankfully nothing but receipts and trash laying in the floor. i never keep anything of importance out of the console/glovebox. cellphone stays in the right pocket or cupholder.

I've lost trash and my dog once when going around a sharp turn in my neighborhood. He was in the back so it wasn't due to the doors being off and I guess he was leaning out a little too much. He was fine only a few scratches. I was only going like 20.

I haven't lost anything (that I know of) but I did end up finding a velcro strap for my soft top. Not sure about the previous models but the JK's soft top comes with 2 velcro straps. I ended up loosing one of them, so I threw the other one in storage and started using the ball bungees. Went to an off road park with top and doors off (2 hour drive doing 80) and half way through the day, I found my other velcro strap. Now I have 2. If I can find the one in storage now. HAHA

That's about it so far.

I've read posts in the past so I anchored everything down including my "emergency roadside tool box" with a trigger cable lock. I even bought a strap that slides over the bows of my sunglasses so I wouldn't lose them. Okay, so I forgot about the hats. Flying down the highway my wife's hat goes ariborne. Made a U-turn and retrieved it from the side of the road. Haven't figured out yet how to keep the hats on.

my friend lost 30 bucks out of his shirt pocket. I found it on the floorboard next to the pass seat when I was washing the jeep.

When I had the Triumph Spitfire my sife complained about her hair so we went to wallmart and bought a sun hat with a brim that goes all the way around and some not lace but kinda like it and sewed it on the sides of the hat so she could tie it under her chin. She has been using it ever since.

I lost a cooler that was sitting on the passenger seat. Luckily it was empty and I was able to retrieve it with no problems. That rubber made **** is tough!

That cooler would have made a really nice "highway puck" if you had traffic behind ya...
