Just your basic stuff, small amounts of trash, plastic bags, a pack of smokes once, ( that really sucked) change, small children, you know, the regular.

For the first year I had the Jeep, I had a big problem of putting things on the dash. For regular cars and pickups, that's fine, but NOT in an open Jeep, especially without doors.

Lets see: 2 Mag Lites, a Swiss Army knife, only God knows how many sunglasses, a shirt off the seat, and a couple of hats.

I almost lost my entire soft top! I was going down the interstate, and the fabric at the windshield channel ripped, sending my top flying over the Jeep, and flapping behind until i pulled over! Well, I can actually say that I had an automatic drop top, .

When I lost my hat, it was in a BAD sidewind.

And a gal friend can't figure out why I tell her," DON'T PUT **** ON THE DASH BOARD if you want to keep it. "

My Wedding Ring! seriously though, I had stopped on this dirt road to get out and look around, I had forgot that I placed my ring on the turn signal lever and drove off. I remember that I had herad a metalic sound when I turned a hard corner, I simply thought this was just an old CJ talking back to me. Well I got down the road about 10 mins and I usually kinda mess with the ring when I do wear it and drive.

I flipped it around and hauled arse back, I was thinking driving back it should be right on the surface where I had heard that metallic sound. Very few people go down there so I thought theres a good chance it will be there. I got down there and started looking around, it would be dark in about a hour. It didnt take me more than a few minutes to find my ring sitting on the surface. Whew was I realived!

My wife may have ..... well we won't talk about what ifs. Next story.

A hat, smokes, a few sodas, buddy of mine popped the glovebox while doin 50 and the registration took off, he was pretty lanky though and miraculously snagged it as it flew out the door. Lost the passenger floor mat doin about 70 on the highway, small pieces of trash, and a few things i couldnt figure out what they were, just saw em go flyin past my head. empty water jug floated off the passengerside floor right out the top.

A quart mason jar full of ice water rolled off the pass seat and broke on the highway.
