Starwood Motors - break down pricing of mods

Hello,

By now most know about Starwood Motors in Dallas and their custom JKU's

http://www.starwoodmotors.com/web/us...Texas/6344044/

I am not here to debate their styling. My wife wants a JKU and likes the look of the "kevlar" coating along with the rest of their mods. She has 51% of the vote...

My question is roughly how much is their mark up? Since they do Jeeps in volumes I am assuming they get discounts on the parts and labor. Can someone break down the mods by price? I am assuming they pay around $29k for a brand new Sport with 24S package. If I do pick up one of these I want to know what would be a reasonable offer.

Please try to stay on topic and not your personal opinion of Starwood.

seems a bit overpriced most mods could be done with better brands for less then the 50k price on their site seems like the paint is what you would be getting special there

I will give them credit for the cool paint. The rest seems to be low end parts.

Yeah I would like to know the durability of the liner spray.

Regarding the cheap "Chinese" parts. Are they cheap in general or cheaply made for off-roading? My wife will 99.9% of the time be on the street.

$10k savings even with taking a new JKU sport and mods. Including leather and liner spray? I have no idea what it costs to have your Jeep sprayed.

How much do you think the lift, tires and wheels set them back?

depends they dont lits it was it a budget boost? even if it was metelcloak 3K lift we are still not getting close to 50K

Because the don't list the brand of lift kit they used as a feature and the listed Normal duty suspension its probable a budget boost

MECHANICAL
■160-amp alternator
■Normal duty suspension
■(2) front/(1) rear tow hooks
■Front stabilizer bar
■Rear stabilizer bar
■Command-Trac shift-on-the-fly 4WD system
■Next generation Dana 30 solid front axle
■Hydraulic assist brake boost
■Transfer case skid plate
