snow and soft top

Noob question here....Will the soft top hold up ok in the snow. It'll sit outside while I am at work and may get lots of snow sitting on top.

I've had a foot of snow on mine before, no problems.

I made a bowed support for the top with PVC. The help water run off and will help with snow load in the winter.

If your worried about your top holding the weight of the snow, you can put the top down while your at work ha ha. The tops are pretty sturdy, I wouldn't worry about it. I've had jeeps for years and have never had a top give out from snow and I live in northern ohio.

My soft top sagged big time under heavy snow.......so I put the hard top back on, plus the rear defrost and wiper are a huge plus in the upstate NY winter....

Snow

The snow isn't the worry its the cold, the windows will crack if you're not careful.
