Glad to hear you got a winch!

I empathize with you, but it sounds like you learned the hard way why ya go wheeling with multiple contingency plans. What if your friend had been able to get you out, but you broke your driveshaft or snapped your tie-rod?

What was your contingency plan then? (assuming there was no AAA)

Always need to have multiple contingency plans... then, after that... just laugh at the situation and say as much as possible "That's Jeepin..."

Be glad you weren't hurt.

Oh... a shovel, an axe and your high-lift are probably your best friends. Don't leave the road without em.

... Glad to see you were treading lightly too...

No surprise that they refused, Why have them risk getting stuck in some mud or whatever, they are a towing company, not an " im stuck off roading " extraction company .

x4 on these....you didn't go prepared, with enough fun time, and you suffered the consequences. suck it up, its your fault, not AAA's.

I've had AAA since the day i started driving, and my family has had it for decades. Never had a problem.
