may I present the legendary 48 wrangler
Jeep : Wrangler: eBay Motors (item 140443257026 end time Aug-27-10 19:36:35 PDT)
im guessing it counts as a TJ cause of the round head lights

Look at the rear diff. Rust has eaten through the cover lol

It didn't seem that deep...

there is nothing as rare as a 96 wrangler, they dont exist.

Oh they do exist. I know one in good shape even it has been sitting in a farm field for years. it has been converted into flatbed

Waaayyyy too far gone for my limited skills but I really like the style. I see it after a frame up with all modern TJ running gear. Once finished it would be fun to drive and you would never see yourself coming the other way.

Are you referring to a prototype or were they actually produced and sold? Am I confusing this with the Camaro? I am pretty sure that there was one year in the early 80s that either the Corvette or Camaro was not offered for sale.


Edit: Never mind - found it. Depending on what source you want to believe either 44 or 47 Corvettes were produced and given a 1983 VIN but none were ever offered for sale.

correct...they were titled and used for actual road testing. I believe the only one known to exist ti this day is the one on display at the national corvette museum in KY. the others were cut up and destroyed.
