Quick question!!!

I have an 89 yj axle. Was wondering if it can be used on a 98 tj? Maybe just the housing? Or the guts of the axle? Any info would be nice. Thank

it wont work its probably a dana 35 and even if it isnt a YJ axle is a spring suspension while a tj is a coil suspension so you have the cut the mounts and put new ones on for the tj and ifs a 35 its just not worth it if a dana 44 then its worth it lol

Thanks for the reply. I thought I typed the axle in yes it is a Dana 35. Would the gears and all the guts in the axle work in the tj axle?

i heard that if you replace all the guts the carrier gears and such it may work but im not 100% about that search the forum before you do anything dont wanna ruin a perfectly good axle and have to upgrade it would be a shame lol
