Poll: Mesh colour!!

Hello trusted Jeeplings...(Good enough name eh?)

I recently installed some mesh for my grille and went red for a contrast, I've gotten a few different opinions from my local club so I wanted to see what people here would think. Here it is now:





Most of the opinions seem to say either paint it black, or keep it red and follow with more red accent parts. I'm also thinking a really dark maroonish-blood red maybe. I'm of course open to suggestions, let me know what you think!

Black, I just don' think that red and tub color go together well. Maybe an orange or brown. Look into the color wheel.

I voted black. But another choice that would look good, imho, would be gun metal. Like a real dark silver. The red just doesn't go with anything else.

I have a Commando also and painted my mesh Olive drab.

If it's not supposed to move and does use duct tape.
If it's supposed to move and doesn't use WD40

Yellow. Think ammo box or lettering on grenades, claymores, etc... Yellow markings on olive drab

Thanks for the link, kinda what I was trying to go for! I think orange might be good, that's the second time I've got the suggestion...

anything but black should be chrome with dubs and lots of chrome, Lower the suspension while you're doing it too it will look totally cool.

Yellow would be tacky contrast.

Dark brown like a bark color would be nice.

Black works with all colors and makes the jeeps presents more "mean" and looks good with all colors.

Red (imo) with the green looks bad or like a mistake.

Orange might work, but it would have to be a muted orange and you really wouldnt want it all over every other accessory you have later down the road.

Good luck with your decisions.

I voted red with accents...because if you like it, who else cares? Accent that baby up and show everyone that you're proud of your jeep!

I get a lot of flak about my Dune colored Jeep, but I LOVE IT! Do what you want, brother!
