I always do too, if possible. Need to get some pics

I also do the "Hmm, do I have/want that mod?" bit.

Lol. Totally. I'm always scoping out others' jeeps for ideas.

It's a British thing, I have had a TR6 since '75. Triumph drivers wave to Triumph drivers, MG drivers to MG drivers, some days any sports car to any sports car.
It has always been this way

This happens a lot with most classic cars - I always had the wave when I drove my Corvair or my old Porsche too.

Actually, where I live, pretty much *nobody* does the Jeep wave. Most of the jeep people just ignore everything. Too dang many foreigners moving here.

And of course JEEP Wranglers must be classified with the "classic" group which explains the wave. It's a right neighbourly thing to do as well.

i drove a Sunbeam Alpine back around 1970, sports cars, especially British usually waved. Motorcyclists too.

It seems that whenever I go somewhere in town, the only empty spot is next to a wrangler. Or when I come out, there are a couple parked near me.

Yes but last week i encountered a 1gen. Ford bronco lifted in town and the driver gave the wave. Might have been a former jeep owner himself, owns a jeep but loves broncos too or noticed my yj was lifted too and just gave me props. Either way i thought it was cool. I love jeeps but those 60s era broncos i like to have 1 too ha

I don't know- I'm new here. But after selling my '67 Mustang last year and just picking up a 2012 Sport today, it's nice to see that I'm once again in a community of wavers. Never used to park the stang next to another one though. I always thought it made us both bigger targets, plus those long, heavy doors can do some serious damage when you swing them open...

Oh yeah, first post too.
