INSTALLED - Ordered the OME 2.5" Lift & 1.25" BL

After several months of researching on here, I went with the OME 2.5" and JKS 1.25 BL for my 06 LJ Rubi. I can't wait for it to get here! From what I have read, it should work out perfect in terms of ride quality and 33" tires. Oh yeah, I threw in the JKS MML and front and rear track bars.

On a side note, Northridge4x4 was great to deal with. I placed the order online and quickly had a follow-up call to discuss what was included/needed. They were very informative and helpful!

Well,,, I got the body lift and MML installed a couple of weeks back. Relatively easy, just ended up with one stripped body mount bolt. I have 10 more attaching it so I am not too worried about it! ;-)

This afternoon I will dive off into the OME lift, the JKS quick disconnects and the front/rear track bars. Wish me luck!

I have the same lift and it's just about perfect. Not sure how wide your 33s are, but my 285/75/16s rub a bit on the LCAs at a full turn. A little skinnier tire should fit just fine.

In just under five hours I was able to complete the front end. The quick disconnects, adjustable track bar, coils (longer on the driver's side of course!) and the shocks. I purchased a pitman arm puller as I saw recommended on other sites, but it wasn't of any use. The brackets were too narrow and just pulled through.

The tool of the night was the torch! It sure helped in the removal of the sway bar links and track bar!

Took it for a short drive and it handled just fine with front lift only. I will need to figure out how to re-center my steering wheel because it was no longer centered. Surprisingly, it didn't pull very much to any side.

Tomorrow morning I will install the rear adj. track bar, coils and shocks. I am liking it so far.

Oh yeah, the front end totaled 3 1/4" of lift. I cant wait to finish it!

Thanks for all the help!

I have to say that I am more than pleased with the ride quality of this lift. I took it in and got the alignment and all is well. Total install time was around 6 hours.
