Opening a business / becoming a vendor

Not really sure if this in in the right spot but I was curious about the title. Anyone care to share some advice about getting a business started and how to become a vendor. I know you need an EIN number from the IRS and need to register the business. But as far as getting product anyone or any vendors care to through out some info. Does anyone run there shop out of their garage? Any help or info would be greatly appreciated thanks.

Do you mean you want to find a place to buy stuff wholesale? What do you want to sell?

Due to zoning restrictions in most citys you most likely would not be able to open a shop out of your garage. Check with your city though. Talk to a good accountant as there will be forms for the IRS if you have employees, payroll, SS, on and on and on....open the checkbook and keep signing the checks.
