Need your opinions on buying this TJ

So I have found a 98 TJ, all done up well - it is in excellent shape as far as the tub goes and the engine runs very well. THE concern? 180,000 miles. Clutch and the whole cooling system (and the water pump! ) have been replaced and it's kind of shocking how well it drives and holds together. Previous owner has maintained it well, and has put a lot of money into it.

I will be setting aside around 3,000 to be a reserve for repairs as it would be silly for me to assume that it won't need some work done relatively soon.

We've negotiated the price to around 5.6, which is above KBB but with the mods he's done to it, it feels right.

Worth the purchase? I feel very comfortable about it but I would like to consult the sages of jeepforum.com

Snow chains in the OC? I hope they're for trips otherwise he'd look pretty foolish.
