Need Side Mirrors for Doors off TODAY

Poor planning on my part puts me leaving for the Rubicon Trail in the morning and wanting to remove my doors. I forgot about side mirrors. What can I find that would work TODAY? Meaning, it has to be available at a local Target, Walmart, truck stop, etc. Already tried the local 4WP and they are out.

I am driving the rig on the road, not just the trail, which is why I need the mirrors.

HD, Lowe's, etc. grab 2 1 foot 3/8 threaded rod, 8 washers and nuts to fit, 2 cheap mirrors with brackets.

Put the rod in the top door hinge and bend to the desired angle, nuts and washers on the hinges and to hold the mirror bracket on.

Not pretty and could be more stable but it'll work.

Go to your local motorcycle shop and get two generic mirrors. They'll come on some sort of clamp bracket. Chop that off, attach it to a piece of threaded rod, put two nuts on it (One above and one below the hinge) to clam it in place, and you're set.

EDIT: If that Jeep in your av is yours and current, you might even be able to clamp them somewhere on your hinge lights.

That counts as a side mirror? That's kinda cool. My friend did the first option and it works pretty well, costs about $12 give or take depends on where you go.

Never been hassled about it. Probably depends on location. Here in indiana I could probably drive around with out any mirrors and never hear anything... Its a good temporary get me home and find a more permanent solution if nothing else. :-)

on a yj harley mirrors go in the hinges, not sure about newer jeeps tho.

Do everything with a positive attitude, it won't always work but you'll piss enough people off to make it worthwhile.

the voices aren't real but they sure have good ideas.

The cheapest alternative is to go to walmart, or any bike shop, and buy two elcheapo bike mirrors, they are like ~5$ each. remove the clamp and bolt it into the hinge hole. Its already threaded and simply just tighten with vice grips and your set.

Ive been running mine for two summers, they are still doing their job perfectly. I prefer them over stock actually.

You could also go to a motorcycle shop and get a motorcycle mirror but those your gona be paying more.

Easiest, is to just not worry about it. If you do get pulled over, just say that your doors were stolen. Problem solved.

I'm sure they might not bother me in jersey but I'll try something
