When someone is being a jerk, flames are appropriate. That's not the case here. This guy definitely has a different esthetic but is asking on topic questions that a non tech newbie might ask, I'd hate to see it get carried away.

To the original poster : engines can fail for a veriety of reasons and until it's opened up, it might not be clear. Let the mechanic open it up, there's a good chance it can be saved. But we can't tell from here.

Actually it's in 4 places: GD, picture request, builds, and street jeep sections.

and the sun has set, the leaves have fallen, and the sound of a thousand trolls rumbling the ground from afar. Alas, they bring flames of fury and tears of pain with them.

Brace yourself lad, you have awoken the beast.

Don't listen to these guys. I use to have chrome on my Jeep once upon a time. My Jeeps have seen it all. The longer you own it the more likely you are to transform it into something else. I have changed my TJ about four times. One thing though, those tin bumpers aren't safe. Replace them before it is too late. There are plenty of heavy duty bumpers available for Jeeps. Look into getting a pair. You will thank me later.

Just keep in mind you are posting this.... Customization.... To guys who actually take Jeeping as a very serious thing and actively engage in offroad activities. Most would prefer their Jeeps to look like:

Over your customized look..

But whatever floats your boat I suppose...

I'd keep a set of offroad tires/wheels handy, as there's likely people in your area that would love to introduce you to our perspective of Jeeping

All about that unibody life.
