My Jeep burned to the ground last night

It was at the shop to get new wheels.tires, brakes, front bumper. another ste of lights and some other odds and ends (nothing electrical though).

Police came to my house this ma and told me my Jeep had been totalled by fire. The shop owner went in this am and the tires were still smoldering.

You couldn't even tell what color it had been. Sorry, no pics. In the rush to get down there, I grabbed my camera but left the memory card in my computer.

I get to talk to the police detective tomorrow morning along with my insurance company.

My jeep had bumpers, wheels/tires. lift, winch, lights, etc. I'm curious to see how insurance is going to handle this. Wish me luck.

Ugh, my sympathies. Your memories will get you through this rough time. I'd be crushed.

Hicks Total Performance in Mooresville. They hadn't started working on it yet so I'd still recommend them.

Actually, they have been great to work with. I highly recommend them.

I'm guessing arson since the fire marshall said he had an idea what started it, but wouldn't tell me plus the fact I have to go talk to a police detective tomorrow am.

Wait a minute. Did the shop burn down too or was it just your jeep?

I'm no expert, but since the shop had taken possession of the Jeep, I would think that their insurance has to cover everything - right? Don't let them off the hook for ANYTHING - start gathering receipts for upgrades you have had done and pictures of your Jeep that show what you have installed, etc. Sorry to hear about this happening to you!!

Jeep was parked out front. The fire was hot enough to bust out two windows and melt the shades inside, but the building was steel/brick and did NOT catch on fire. Some damage though............
