motor rebuild question

So my second 4.0 is on its way out. Just my luck... I heard that its possible to combine parts from the 4.2 and the 4.0 to make a sort of hybrid stroker. Would anyone happen to know how to do this or have a link to a thread or website that lays it out? I've always wanted to build my own motor amd now seems to be the perfect oportunity.
