Try looking in the Fabrication section and the Towing and Tow Rigs section. There's lots of good threads with pics on here. Lots of interesting builds and lots of good ideas to meet specific needs. Good luck.

Not an offroad trailer but I have a fold up one from Harbor Freight. Best thing ever. It's hooked up to the Jeep in the driveway right now. I use it all the time.

Here's a couple Jeepers I was camping with who brought their cool little homemade camping trailers. I don't know much about them except for that the larger tent was originally a "in the bed" tent for a Toyota sized pickup.

I want to do one of these builds so bad I can taste it. So far I'm still gathering all of the parts. I have a half tub, a TJ frame (to modify into a trailer frame) and either a scrap D35, or ideas on a rear axle. I have two problems, one is lack of funds, the other is I still haven't learned how to weld.
If anyone cares to tell, how much do you have invested in one of these?

As you see it with the basic trailer frame kit with axle and 12" tires and metal floor, plus new wider axle with 5 on 4.5" hubs, spare hub, three larger tires, wheels and center caps, lumber, hardware, spare tire carrier, tongue stand, fuel cell, and other misc parts:

About $1000.

I added tail lights to the back of it. Still gotta add a hi-lift and shovel mount. A massive 120qt cooler rides in front of the box.
