JK8 for sale a Jeep dealer

I saw this new JK8 for sale at Kelly Jeep in Lynnfield MA today. There was no sticker in the window so I don't know the price, I stopped just long enough to give it a once over and take this picture.

Doesn’t the JK8 come with a Dana 60 in the rear?

How can one of these cost more than a fully loaded Cummins Ram?

I think someone said "frickin ridiculous." I agree.

Having owned a Rubitrux conversion Jeep, I wonder what structural issues the JK8 will come up with since its missing most of the rollbar.

It is. The kit's called the JK8 Independence kit.

EDIT: The kit is about $5000 to buy yourself. The dealers jack them up a bit because they can, and to cover labour, but if you can follow instructions and have access to a paintgun, you can do it yourself for way less.

Local dealer has one here on 35" tires and a couple of rather cheap looking Steele bumpers. I didn't see a sticker price so I checked their website which said $54,460

They are out of their mind!

I found a link to it:

Too many mods to list. Too awesome to sell.

Holy Mackerel that first thing is hideous!

Over the mountains and through the woods, across the stream and up the slickrock, down the canyon and over the rocks to nobody's house I go.
